Rosedene Lodge, centrally located in Sea Point, opened in 2001.
From the start still owner-managed by Michael, our team currently consists of Tichaona, Florence, Sandra and Martin.
For visitors, Sea Point has developed into the most sought after part of Cape Town in recent years. It is considered safe, in close proximity to the Atlantic (less than 5 walking minutes from us to the prestigious Sea Point Promenade) and within close proximity to a plethora of shops and restaurants.
Due to its location between the city centre and the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, but also only 2.5km away from the V&A Waterfront, Sea Point offers excellent transport facilities.
Rosedene Lodge is tucked away in a small street just behind busy Main Road, well sheltered from the noise and buzzle of vibrant Sea Point.
With only six rooms, our guests enjoy individual attention and an intimate and comfortable but spacious relaxing environment.
All rooms offer access through individual terraces or courtyards with teak chairs and granite tables.
Our large sun-drenched pool and pool area invites you to relax on teak lounges.

Breakfast is served until 12 am, usually in our garden under the shade of vine (weather permitting) or in our Art Deco lounge. Start your day with a healthy fruit salad, a choice of cereals, yogurt, fruit, exquisite cheeses, ham, and imported cold meats, and a selection of our homemade bread, fresh rolls, and croissants. Hot breakfasts are made fresh to order.
Once breakfast is done, you’ll be ready to explore the city, go on an excursion e.g. into the Winelands or to the Cape of Good Hope, or if you feel like it, relax by the pool or on your private terrace with something to read or your earphones.
Enjoy sundowners and snacks in the afternoon and have a refreshing splash in the pool before going out to explore Cape Town’s vibrant nightlife – or reward yourself with an early night and unwind in the peace and tranquility of Rosedene Lodge.
